Welcome to my new homepage!

As a musician with a special interest in music written centuries ago, performing on an instrument that is several hundred years old, I have become so accustomed to immersing myself in those olden days of yesteryear, studying the old scores, reading about the lives and times of the composers etc., that modern develpments such as "the Internet" and "e-mai"” have, I have to admit, tended to be excluded from my life. In fact, I have only recently become acquainted with them!

However, now, as I become more used to them, I can appreciate these new possibilities, not least the opportunity to present a full and complete protrait of myself in the following pages. Modern technology has even made it possible for you to listen to excerpts from my recordings in your own home, wherever in the world that may be.

My violin and I have done a lot of travelling together over the last 25 years, and whether on a solo tour or together with one of my faithful – and distinguished! – artist-companions ("friends"), it has been a journey involving beautiful music with wonderful audiences, who often have added a new dimension of beauty to the works performed.

It is my hope that these pages may help me to continue this work for many years to come.
